Magnesium hydroxide

Hydrofy is the trademark of our Magnesium Hydroxide flame retardant fillers. Hydrofy allows the production of Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) compounds with a very low emission of smoke.


Magnesium carbonate

Magfy is the trademark of our Magnesium Carbonate obtained from high-purity Magnesite. Magfy is used as a flame retardant filler for halogenated polymers.


Magnesium based blend

Hydromix is the commercial name of the range of Magnesium Hydroxide (Hydrofy) – and Magnesium Carbonate (Magfy) – based flame retardant blends produced by Nuova Sima.


Calcium Carbonate

Microcarb is the trademark of Micronised Calcium Carbonate produced with a special milling and classification process. Microcarb is designed for cables compounds with elevated electrical properties.
