All Alufy grades comes from the milling of a synthetic, high purity and high whiteness, Aluminium Hydroxide. The availability of a wide range of different particle size gives the opportunity to choose the most suitable grade for many different applications.

Finer grades (Alufy 2 and Alufy 6) are particularly recommended for Low Smoke PVC cable compounds, rigid PVC profiles and many others, elastomeric or thermoplastic, Halogen Free compounds.

Coarser grades (Alufy 10, 13, 16 and 20) find specific application in highly filled products, like thermosetting resins or bedding compounds for HFFR cables, were high flame performance is required while keeping a very good processability.
